The Hyundai Azera is a mid-size car sold by Hyundai worldwide, often marketed as the Hyundai Grandeur but known by a wide variety of different names. It has been in continuous production since 1986 under various names and was the flagship of Hyundai’s car lineup for years, until the advent of the Hyundai Genesis. Today the Azera, as it has been labeled in the U.S., is in its fifth generation, which was introduced in 2011. In 2014 Hyundai released the first major facelift for the Azera which included a new technology suite, a lower price tag, and refined steering and precision, among many other trim-specific upgrades. The 2014 Hyundai Azera, the most current model available, comes in two different trim levels, the Azera and the Limited. The Azera base model comes priced at $31,000 and features a 3.3L 293-hp DOHC V6 engine capable of 29 MPG highway, a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC standard, 18″ alloy wheels, a six-inch color LCD display, a rearview camera, heated front seats, dual automatic temperature control, an AM/FM/CD/Sirius XM/MP3 stereo with six speakers and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink and built-in electronic compass. The Limited, the more expensive Azera version, comes in at $34,750 and features the same engine as its cheaper counterpart with the same transmission, 18″ Hyper Silver alloy wheels, HID Xenon headlights, power-folding side mirrors, navigation system with an 8″ display, an Infinity-powered stereo with AM/FM/CD/Sirius XM/MP3 capabilities and 14 speakers including a 550-watt external amplifier and a subwoofer, ventilated front seats, interior lighting and an integrated memory system for the driver’s seat.
The Azera is a cool little car, and luckily for you shipping it is about as easy as it comes. It’s a mid-size, so it’s a bit larger than the subcompacts or compact cars of the world, but at the end of the day the Azera is still a car, which means you won’t be seeing any oversize or overweight vehicle shipping fees attached to it. You won’t see that even on a full-size car because it’s still a car. The most important thing that will affect your auto transport price is where you’re shipping from and to and the distance between pickup and delivery. This will be the main determining factor in your price, as pickup and delivery locations can affect price based on how large or easy-to-access they are. Distance obviously plays a major role as well, as that determines how much fuel is spent and mileage put onto the transport truck, which can translate into higher maintenance prices.
