Rainier is a city located in Thurston County, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is currently home to a population of over 1,900 residents and is a part of the Olympia, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area, one of the largest metro areas in the state.
The city was first founded in the 1870’s, and the first post office was established in 1890. Through the first half of the 20th century, Rainier was a center of logging and agriculture, though the closure of several mills threatened to turn it into a ghost town. After incorporation as a city in 1947, the city began to slowly grow, with more retail businesses opening during the latter half of the 20th century.

Car Transport to Rainier Tips and Tricks
Let’s face it – Rainier is far from the most populated area in Washington, or even Thurston County. This usually means that carriers are going to have a harder time providing car transport to Rainier on account of the fact that there usually aren’t a lot of customers in the area.
It helps that Rainier sits along SR 507, a state highway that acts as a bypass to Olympia, which sits further west along Interstate 5. Some carriers may ask you to meet them in Olympia, or at least somewhere close to it, for pickup and delivery, and this may also be a way to save some time or money on your shipment if those are factors for you.
Make sure to talk to someone about your car transport to Rainier and about ways to save time or money on your shipment and also what to expect when you ship to or from the city.
