Sharonville is a city located primarily in Hamilton County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. Currently the city is home to over 13,500 residents and is a part of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area, one of the largest metro areas in the state. It is located perhaps twenty miles north of downtown Cincinnati and is considered a core bedroom community in the northern Cincinnati metro area. Sharonville has been inhabited by Americans since at least the late 18th century, though it remained a small, sleepy town until Ford build the Sharonville Transmission factory in the city. It was incorporated as a village in 1911 and as a city in 1962.
